Given that Netflix have announced they are spending £5 Billion on content in 2017 it is hard to compete with them when it comes to riveting documentaries and TV shows that keep you up all night.
But if your Netflix habit is costing you a little too much sleep, Napflix is here to sing you a sweet lullaby. Behold, a streaming service with purposefully dull, repetitive and soporific content designed for you to fall asleep in front of.
Some of the content is so dull it is almost commendably imaginative, from "Aquarium fish tank: three boring hours" to "Traditional Latin Mass" and the simple classic "Ten hour timer"
Napflix is run by Spaniard Victor Guitérrez who wants to share the glorious concept of the siesta with the world. He told Metro that videos they choose, "Could be the kinds of things that remind us of our childhood, or the things you want to watch after your dinner – sports, TV series or post-meal classes".
"We looking for monotony, nostalgic and relaxing content" he explains, "It's all got to have the same pattern and help you to disconnect your mind." The crucial aspect is that you don't miss out on the plot if you fall asleep meaning you wake up dazed and confused.
"Napflix understands that boring entertainment exists and we have given a place where you can enjoy it!" Amen brother.
