Lindsay Lohan, the gift that continues to confuse the world has added a new accent to recent baffling accomplishments that include live tweeting the referendum result, losing half her finger in a boating accident and opening a refugee club in Greece.
Lohan was in Athens speaking to reporters about her business ventures with the restaurant guru Dennis Papageorgiou. What followed was such an amalgamation of odd dialects that you can only sit and watch with a concerned brow, like watching a treasured building catch fire and burn to the ground.
The accent is so concerning most people have been sidetracked from the actual content of her interview - which is probably just as well as the 30 year old said, "We have to help other people and if we can do it with a nightclub or with a spa or with refugee camps and containers […] We can create peaceful locations where we can all be happy."
Lohan spoke to the Daily Mail to clear up the confusion her accent was causing, explaining, "It's a mixture of most of the languages I can understand or am trying to learn. I've been learning different languages since I was a child. I'm fluent in English and French can understand Russian and am learning Turkish, Italian and Arabic."
Her accent does sound like a all of those languages at once s so we sort of get where she's coming from. And as we know, Lohan is a dab hand at nailing a European accent.
