Don't know about you, but we miss hating Manchester United.
Remember the jealousy and contempt they inspired under Alex Ferguson ? Steamrollering teams each and every week, all rapid counter attacks and high studs, bullying refs into a new time-zone.
And their villainy was infuriating – but it was entertaining. A lot better, at least, than their current state: as a gutless team of disjointed 'stars'.
But if we can't hate them for their performances, then at least we can hate them for ushering in an impending apocalypse.
That's Edward Glazer, Chief Executive of Manchester United and Donald Trump doner, to the tune of $55,400.
Fine, sure, he donates some money to Hillary Clinton too ($5,400), and his donation will probably have zero effect on the election. FINE.
But we need to attribute this whole sh*tshow to someone or something – and Man Utd (and Jose Mourinho, if we're going to stretch) are just so easy to blame. It just feels right.
