Yesterday it was reported that apple would finally be fixing the iPhone 6s models that keep turning off despite being charged.
Now, the reason behind the fault may have been revealed by tech website AppleInsider, who say it could be down to people charging their phones with cheap imitation chargers - you know the sort we all buy off Amazon for £2.99?
Apparently unlike Apple branded chargers, they damage the circuitry in the phone and mean the amount of charge in the battery isn't reported to the phone's operating system.
AppleInsider explained,"As a result of the damage seemingly induced by the third-party gear, users are seeing erroneously high charge percentages, leading to the faulty conclusion that the phone is shutting off before being fully depleted. In actuality, the phone is shutting off from a lack of power as the battery is, in fact, drained."
