Watched in real-time, David Haye's bust-up with cruiserweight rival Tony Bellew at their pre-fight press conference yesterday looked like mere handbags at dawn.
But watch the tussle in slow-motion, and David Haye's lightning quick left fist makes a surprising appearance.
Meeting ahead of their grudge match at the 02 Arena, the rivals decided to butt heads for the gathering crowd, before Bellew pushed him away.
That's when Haye launched into action. His punch was invisible to the naked eye, but Bellew's dazed bafflement was evident for all to see.
"There was absolutely no need for that, whatsoever Dave," came a cry from the gaggle of black-suited interveners, but Haye remained unrepentant, goading: "You're getting knocked down, we're swinging punches. You're a chump."
The war of words had started much earlier when, according to The Mirror, the former two-weight world champion said: "I could go clubbing every single night from now to the fight, get smashed every night and still knock you out. I could turn up drunk off my head.
"You're getting knocked out, destroyed. Even if you do hit me nothing is going to happen, you powder-puff-punching chump.
"I'll end the fight when I want to. If I want to punish you for three or four rounds then I'll do that. If I want to take you out in 30 seconds, I'll do that.
"It's completely up to me. You're just in there with no say. You're just a chump in the ring, a little fat podgy pumped-up light heavyweight."
Needless to say, Bellew didn't back down from the verbal spar, saying: "He could have fought for the heavyweight championship of the world but he chose the money because he's skint.
"I'm the money fight. You're struggling and you don't want a real fight.
"Deep in your heart, I know you're as fragile as they come.
"I bet my whole purse on this now. My whole purse, I do not go down."
Guess we'll just have to wait until their 4 March fight at the 02 Arena to see how this settles.
