Before iPhones took over the world in 2007, Apple wasn't sure as to how their game changing new smartphone should function. One of their original ideas was the base the interface on their early-generation iPods, transferring their staple click-wheel to the touch screen.

It sounds a bit silly, in retrospect. But the Cali tech giants put their plan into action and developed some test kits.

And now, thanks to a video published by Sonny Dickson, we can now have a first look at the iOS precursor named "AcornOS." Have a watch above.
