Deep down, every single one of us dreams of being a table-slamming hotshot lawyer with a burning passion for justice. We all think we have it in us, too.
But it's a good thing that those ambitions are rarely realised, because really: just imagine how out of depth you'd be in the case of the 'Tall Man In The Ford KA' A.K.A the greatest mystery of our time? It doesn't bear thinking about.
Adam Elliott, 25, is charged with dangerous driving after he allegedly stood up while driving his car along the Felling bypass, Gateshead last January.
Metro reports that Elliot, however, argues that he was sitting down, and posed stern-faced in a selection of photos to prove it.
Elliot's lawyer, Nick Cartmell, told the Chronicle: 'He is adamant he was not standing. The allegation is he was standing while driving. He is a few inches off 7ft.
'He accepts he was high in the seat but he was not standing and was in control of the vehicle. It's a very small car. It would have been like the Big Friendly Giant in Noddy's car.'
Adam is on trial today.
