If the football transfer rumour mill is to be believed – and when is it not – Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are all locked in a battle to sign the same Frenchman.
The man at the centre of this divine tussle – the footballing equivalent of Rihanna, Beyonce and Jennifer Lawrence all asking for your number – is M'Baye Niang, the AC Milan forward worth a bargain £15million.
Liverpool has apparently 'opened talks' over the 22-year-old, while Arsenal has been 'repeatedly linked' with the player. Manchester United are 'interested' too, assuming their audacious bit for Griezmann falls through.
Why all the fuss? According to Sky Sports Italia, Niang is itching for a move to England (must be the food) after a frustrating five years in Italy where he has scored only three goal in 18 appearances, despite being considered one of the brightest young talents in the game.
And if that trio of Premier League heavyweights all fail to make a serious move, Niang needn't worry – apparently Sam Allardyce wants to take him to Crystal Palace too.
