Footballers no longer solely have to contend with the pressure of the press, they must also face the scrutiny of social media's watchful eye.
This doesn't seem to be too excruciating for Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard whose bromance has evolved from twin dab celebrations on the pitch to, well, this.
The 23-year-old Frenchman posted this clip of him and Lingard in the United changing rooms practicing an incredibly elaborate goal celebration that is both confusing and unnecessarily long - the sort of thing that earn you a punch to the face during a Sunday League game. To add insult to injury Lingard performs it in a pair of red adidas sliders.
The video is so fist-chewingly bad, it even earned a dressing down from a former club legend.
Rio Ferdinand fumed: "I've just seen a video of the lads dancing in the changing room. I'm all for having a bit of fun on social media and stuff. But not when you're sixth in the league, and you're not in the Champions League positions and you're fighting."
Bit grumpy, but he has a point.
