People Are Unsurprisingly Getting Trump And Boris Johnson Mixed Up

Is it the hair, or the reckless self-serving politics?

They both value their own popularity more than the future of their countries, they're both prone to saying irresponsible things for attention and – let's face it – they both have f***ing stupid hair.

So it's probably no real surprise that people have been known to get Boris Johnson and Donald Trump mixed up.

Britain's Foreign Secretary was jokingly asked in the House of Commons, by the SNP's Alex Salmond, whether he was avoiding going back to New York in case he got mixed up with small-fingered world leader.

"I am embarrassed to sat that I was mistaken for Mr Trump in – I think – Newcastle, which rather took me aback," replied Boris.

A 'mistake' or a 'piss take', we wonder, given the people of Newcastle possess both a famously ready sense of humour and the good sense to have voted against Boris's self-serving political vanity project Brexit campaign last summer? There's no way to know for sure.
