Jordan Peele's New Horror Movie About Race Has 100% On Rotten Tomatoes

When it was revealed last year that Jordan Peele, famous for his double-act with Keegan-Michael Key in Key & Peele, was working on a horror movie we didn't quite know what to expect.

Given his comedy credentials, a Scary Movie-esque satire seemed par for the course. But then, as anyone who has seen his mind-bendingly original sketches will know that he's not a fan of taking the well-trodden path.

Instead, Get Out uses horror and thriller conventions to tackle the subject of race in America. Peele has previous in this regard, with the Key & Peele show's Suburban Zombies sketch.

And so far, critics are loving it. Get Out boasts a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes, and has garnered some considerable hype in the lead up to its release on the 17 March.

Benjamin Lee from The Guardian said: "Get Out is designed to lift the facade of post-racial America and showcase the ugliness that lies beneath. What's quite astounding is not only how sharply he manages this but that he does so while also crafting a terrifying horror film."
