Facebook CEO and fledgling Grand Emperor Of The Universe Mark Zuckerberg apparently requested that restaurant staff not speak to or take photos of him during a meal out with his wife.

According to Metro, the social media goliath's team is said to have called the OvenBird restaurant, in Birmingham, Alabama, before the dinner date to make the demand.

The photo part we get. As Ed Milliband will tell you, budding leaders should avoid getting snapped half-chew. It'll come back to haunt you.

The restaurant took it well, to be fair.

"Our instructions were to take no pictures, just say hello to them and let them be and have a nice, quiet meal. And that's what we did,' owner and chef Chris Hastings told Birmingham News.

He added: "It was very flattering for us to be chosen to be the restaurant where they ate. We took that very seriously and with a great deal of pride."

But because Hastings is an out-of-control maverick, he decided to exploit a loophole in the agreement and snap a picture of Zuckerberg's meal.
