Martin Scorsese Directed A Giorgio Armani Documentary

Robert De Niro did not make a cameo appearance, much to our dismay

Nearly 27 years after its initial release, footage of a Scorsese-directed documentary about Giorgio Armani has resurfaced, offering a grainy insight into the fashion magnate's day-to-day life, along with zero wise guy accents.

Titled Made in Milan, the documentary was released to little fanfare back in 1990 and had been practically forgotten until it was recently rediscovered and picked up by M2M TV, who were kind enough to share a 10 minute segment of the documentary with the world before Armani's 2017 Milan show.

Speaking about the film, M2M executive producer Susan Hootstein said: "When we first found out Martin Scorsese had produced a film with Giorgio Armani in 1990 we knew it had to be a hidden gem. Made in Milan predates the current landscape of fashion films which is why M2M felt so compelled to display this seminal piece of work."

Seminal: maybe. But is it really a Scorsese film if Rob or Leo aren't involved?
