There's something heartening about a cherished comedy character from the past being resurrected for the internet age.
Rowan Atkinson's silent buffoon Mr. Bean hit peak popularity in the mid-90s. Corny and innocent, it pre-dated the cringe comedy ushered in by Ricky Gervais and The Office and the cruelty of the viral meme age and - let's face it - wouldn't stand a cat in hell's chance of being commissioned today.
And yet, via the wonders of Photoshop and some very idle hands, the slapstick hero has found a place in the world of 2017 - mainly thanks to Atkinson's endlessly amusing face.
9GAG have compiled some of the times Mr. Bean has met with Millennial irony for some pictures that prove comedy can reach across the generational divide, and no doubt cheer up your Monday morning just a little bit.
