Matters are more than a little up in the air over in North London. Mesut Ozil is yet to sign his contract, Arsene Wenger hasn't reveiled his future plans, and free-scoring Chile forward Alexis Sánchez has been the subject of much speculation on whether he'll continue at the club.
And now, Sánchez has given the strongest hint yet that he'll be departing in the summer having become frustrated at the lack of progress at Arsenal.
Speaking in Santiago, Chile, at the launch of Huawei's new mobile phone he sai:,
"I'm happy in London and I want to finish my contract. That's what I want. I like to stay in one place, one city, where the team fights for titles."
The interviewer then joked about the possibility of him moving to Chelsea. Sánchez smiled in response but gave little away.
The 28-year-old to is reportedly being courted from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
Is he trying to force Arsenal to up his wages and get their act together? Does "finish my contract" mean end it or see it out? Would he have any reason to play coy with Arsenal given their current shit-show? We'll have to see.
