Firstly, we should say that the events represented in this comic strip are entirely made up (though that's not to say Beyonce and Jay-Z definitely don't refer to each other as "schnookums" and "cuddle bunny"). Still, you can have a lot of fun fabricating the lives of celebrities, as the creators of a new series of comic strips, specially commissioned by PlayStation 3 for the launch of fantasy superhero game InFAMOUS 2, have shown.
The project is a collaboration between Howard "Mr Nice" Marks, and Pat Mills, the key writer on Judge Dredd and created 2000AD, who invited a bunch of illustrators to fictionalise an episode in the life of some of our favourite headline-hoggers — probably to satirise how obsessed we are with celebrity culture (though trading off said obsession at the same time — clever!). Mr and Mrs Z were illustrated by the very talented Barnaby Richards, while Kate Brown offers a similarly posterior-themed strip about Pippa Middleton. Then there's Gaga drawn by JAKe, Lindsay Lohan tackled by Fay Dalton, plus Gary, Justin, Cheryl and a few other people with whom we're not really on first-name terms. Still, a good excuse to see how the other half (don't really) live.
