Few things, aside the horrifyingly misjudged statue of his head, leave Cristiano Ronaldo speechless. But this weekend, a jaw-dropping save from Atletico Madrid's Stefan Savić did just that.
The Madrid derby was goalless with just 30 minutes left to play when CR7 curled the ball from inside the penalty area straight towards the waiting goal. It was a shot that sailed past goalkeeper Jan Oblak and should, by all accounts, have been the opener.
Not on Savić's time, who literally threw himself towards the goal heading the ball out of play in the last possible nanosecond.
All that Ronaldo could do was watch aghast. Better luck next time m8.
