While it isn't typically the epicentre of footballing high drama, the SPL emerged as the unlikely talking point of this weekend's fixtures, after Celtic conceded a penalty to one of the worst dives you're ever likely to see.
We're talking Arjen Robben bad.
With the clock on 87 minutes and Celtic 2-1 up and cruising against Ross County, Brendan Rodgers was already preparing an undoubtedly scintillating congratulatory speech for his boys in green hoops, but then County substitute Alex Schalk went down under a phantom challenge from Celtic's Erik Sviatchenko; a penalty was awarded, then scored... and the whole thing went to s**t.
Upon not even particularly close inspection, it would appear that the referee has been absolutely had, not that it matters too much to Celtic, who have already taken the league at canter and are on a current run of 40 games unbeaten in the league.
You're a genius Brendan... you're a genius.
