Finally taking a stand on an issue that is a constant burden for successful men, a New York financier (wow, surprising?) has opened up about why he now refuses to date "hot women", because they are "full of themselves."
Dan Rochkind, the 40-year-old protagonist of this cautionary tale, has since gone viral after speaking to The New York Post - who describe him as an "Upper East Sider with a muscular build and a full head of hair" - about why he decided to give up attractive women, saying: "I could have [anyone] I wanted."
"Beautiful women who get a fair amount of attention get full of themselves… Eventually, I was dreading getting dinner with them because they couldn't carry a conversation."
Dreading it! Won't someone please think of the wealthy bankers?! Those wealthy bankers dreading their dinners.
We know what you're thinking, and yes, our friend Dan did eventually find a deeper, more stimulating love that befits his elite personality and status, in the form of Carly Spindel, who was totally cool with her now-fiancé sort of insulting her in the national press.
"[She] is a softer beauty," Dan adds. "Someone you can take home and cuddle with, and she's very elegant.
"And she's 5-foot-2, so she can't be a runway model, but I think she's really beautiful and is prettier than anyone I've dated."
Thanks for clearing that one up, Dan. All the best.
