It looks as though WhatsApp are working on a new feature which will let you "unsend" messages.
Although you'll have to be quick, because you'll only be able to re-call them within 5 minutes and that's as long as they are unread.

The news was leaked by WABetaInfo - who are not affiliated with the app, but have previously shared details of unreleased features.

It's not clear when the feature will be released but WABetaInfo suggested that it might drop when Apple releases its next iOS update later this year.
