Along with salmon, picnic baskets and the soft tissue of human flesh, apparently bears also really like chocolate brownies.
According to WFSB an 'angry' bear attempted to break into the home of an American woman who was rustling up a batch of delicious brownies in rural Connecticut, with neighbours eventually having to alert the police.
The black bear spent more than half an hour asking for a sit down and a couple of brownies (some tea wouldn't go amiss, either), but his requests were denied, causing him to get a bit irate.
"We have a bear attempting to get into a house," concerned neighbour Bob Belfiore, who rushed to help the woman, said in a call to police.
"He's not afraid of noise, screaming or yelling or pounding."
The angry black bear even attempted to open two other doors in an attempt to get those sweet brownies.
"He actually left the kitchen area and went to a second set of doors off the deck," Mr Belfiore told Eyewitness News.
He added: "It was a rather harrowing experience although it looks cute in the photos … this bear was angry about not being able to get at the food."
We all have our moments when we're a bit too hungry.
