After years of underwhelming rehashes, tech analysts believe that Apple is working towards a radical reboot with their upcoming iPhone 8.
Rumours suggest that Apple will introduce a massive curved OLED screen, which – as you probably guessed – won't come cheap.
Goldman Sachs analyst Simona Jankowski stated in a note to investors: ''The first $1,000 iPhone can drive meaningful upside.
"The bottom line is that we are raising our 2018 estimates further above consensus. We think the higher demand for the larger (5.8″) form factor will be supported by the fact that the iPhone 8 will have compelling new features not available in the smaller form factor."
That means that in Britain the most powerful version will cost up to £900. Oof.
According to Metro, Apple ordered 70 million OLED Screens from Samsung earlier this year – new technology that offers deeper, more vivid colours.
It bloody better.
