Real Madrid have claimed the La Liga title with a 2-0 win over Malaga.
Not a particularly surprising statement in the grand scheme of things – even if it has been since 2011/12 when they last lifted the title – but behind the seemingly routine victory actually confirmed two astonishing records for the Spanish giants.
First off, it means Zinedine Zidane's team have scored in every single game they have played this season – a remarkable statistic they can extend to a perfect 100% if they manage to put one past Juventus in next month's Champions League final.
Second and even more jaw-dropping, the fact Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the scorers (Karim Benzema got the other) means he has become the first player in the club's history to score over 40 goals in seven consecutive seasons.
It's playing-FIFA-against-your-Dad level stuff really, isn't it? Magnífico.
