Chart-topping pop music isn't renowned for its bitter feuds, but Katy Perry and Taylor Swift's rivalry has been simmering for a number of years now.
It apparently all started back in 2012, when Katy apparently stole 3 backing dancers from the former country & western star, leading her to release 'Bad Blood' – a track laying into her rival.
But now, according to a new Carpool Karaoke with James Corden, Perry is willing to quash the beef – on the condition she receives an apology.
So, not really quashing it at all, really. Inflaming it, we mean.
"That's true, there is a situation," she said, after Corden addressed the situation. "Honestly, it's really like she started it and it's time for her to finish it."
"She wouldn't speak to me,' Katy went on. 'I do the right thing anytime that it feels like a fumble. It was a full shut-down and then she writes a song about me and I'm like, "OK, cool, cool, cool. That's how you wanna deal with it?"."
She continued: "But, what I wanna say is that I'm ready for that B.S. to be done.
"Now, there is the law of cause and effect. You do something and there's going to be a reaction. And trust me daddy, there's going to be a reaction. It's all about karma."
Won't somebody put an end to this madness?
