By now you've probably heard the story about Roy Larner, the man dubbed 'the Lion of London Bridge' after he took on three knife-wielding terrorists during Saturday night's attacks, armed only with a pair of Great Big Man Fists and the battle cry, "Fuck you, I'm Millwall."

As well as doing absolute wonders for Millwall's PR, Roy has also offered a helping hand to Piers Morgan once he gets out of hospital.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain today, 47-year-old Roy explained: "I've been stitched up quite well, so I'm better than I was."

Recalling his heroics, Roy said: "Three blokes tried to kick their way into the bar because the door was shut. They entered the bar, all of a sudden they start pulling out knives, one's trying to come to me with a knife, as I'm fighting him the other two have come to me then to help him.

"The three of them, I'm fighting them, and at the time I'm thinking of those families and kids who need to get out of the bar. It happened in about 45 seconds and as I've got them out they've been shot around me."

He added: "Maybe I'm a bit brain dead."

Continuing, Roy said: "Whether I'd do it again, I don't know. You just try and stop them coming in. OK, I got a good hiding from it, but they're not alive, I am still."

And then, in a moment that Roy will surely regret once he leaves hospital, he said: "If you're looking for a minder, Piers…"

We can't see anyone else offering their services anytime soon, Piers. You should definitely take it!
