And it sounded boozy

It's well-known that Johnny Depp spent a bit of time with Oasis during their hedonistic heyday back in the nineties.

He even played slide guitar on their song 'Fade In-Out' From Be Here Now, and lent six-strings to their charity offering 'Fade Away (Warchild Version)'.

So he was never going to let the opportunity to meet up with former frontman Liam pass him by.

One insider told The Mirror: "Liam and Johnny used to hang out in the '90s. They are two of the biggest hell raisers of their time and they've always had a laugh. It was always going to be a wild reunion.

"After Liam's set, a special yurt (canopy) was set up for the two of them, with 40 bottles of vodka, five magnums of champagne, and 10 cases of beer had been requested for their close friends and family."

The question is: did he also meet up with Noel? Depp could have been the man to bring the brothers together for an impromptu reunion at the festival.

He probably had bigger issues on his mind, given the controversy that came from his comments about Donald Trump.

Maybe next time, eh?
