Human ingenuity is a wonderful thing. Over thousands of years of trial and error we've (well not us, but other clever people) discovered fire; built tools for hunting; drawn maps; stumbled upon beer and found a way to fly thousands of miles inside the belly of great metal birds, but one gamer might have just toppled all of these achievements.
He's made a SNES out of a SNES cartridge.
We'll let him walk you through it...
Built by the appropriately Reddit-sounding Reddit user, FuckinHomerunChippah, this little piece of Frankenstein genius was made by placing a SNES emulator and a tiny Raspberry Pi computer inside of an old SNES cartridge, complete with a few classic SNES games like Super Metroid and Super Mario World.
While this method isn't exactly legal, it's a pretty clever way to get some retro Nintendo gaming in before the big SNES Classic relaunch in September.
