Remember work experience? Those heady days of stuffing envelopes and surreptitiously checking your phone whilst feeling like just another brick in the wall.
Even if you did have some work to be getting on with, we doubt you had to deal with a hurricane of Twitter curveballs like the Southern Rail intern did this week.
The company, infamous for their heavily delayed and excruciating service, tweeted yesterday that they had put a 15-year-old boy called Eddie in charge of its social media.
Twitter being Twitter, instead of complaints about the service - of which there's usually infinite - Eddie received a barrage of riddles, nonsensical questions and general piss-taking.
He handled the whole thing surprisingly well, so clearly has an illustrious career in customer service ahead of him.
