Mo Farah, handy with a pair of trainers and an 800m track, less so when it comes to identifying British rock stars it turns out.
The twice Olympic gold medallist was clearly having a lovely time at the U2 concert in Twickenham last night. Perhaps he'd had one too many Bacardi Breezers as he tweeted an image of himself and Noel Gallagher, but said he was: "Chilling with my boy liamgallagher"
Ah, that is really quite awkward isn't it? Lip-bitingly awkward and perhaps made worse by the recent outburst Liam had saying he'd "rather eat s**t than listen to U2"
Noel's band High Flying Birds had earlier supported the band whom he had recently posted a subtle defence of in response to Liam's s**t eating comments.
Strangely Farah managed to get the right brother when uploading the snap to his Instagram account which the tweet links to, or perhaps that was very swiftly edited once his WhatsApp group chat called him out.
Instead of kicking off, as you might expect Liam to do having been confused for his brother at a U2 gig, he posted a rather sweet response saying only: ""Good to see u2 mo as you were LG x"
We knew he was always a good kid at heart.
