What we're listening to - Lykke Li

Swedish singer/songwriter, Lykke Li, is back with “I follow Rivers”, the first single from her new album Wounded Rhymes.

It’s always a comfort to hear Li purring over the hollow drums and minimal beats for which we’ve grown to love her – and, with a strong resemblance to past hits “Little Bit” and “Let it Fall”, Li has built on a style entirely her own with her latest track.

The depressingly youthful, original and uber-talented Swede writes and produces all her tracks with mentor, Björn Yttling. The sultry combination of minimal piano, acoustic guitar, wooden drumming and more contemporary electronic notes found on “I Follow Rivers” makes for an utterly compelling song. Go buy.
