What we're listening to - Man Like Me

London-based synth duo Man Like Me kick start their UK tour at XOYO London this month and we’re pretty excited. If you don’t know them by name, they may be better recognized as “those guys from the IKEA advert.”

The pair’s cover of Jona Lewie’s “You’ll Always Find Me in the Kitchen at Parties” has helped build on the buzz already growing around them.

Much like a 21st century Madness (bar the rubber-faced front man) the duo’s ska overtones and the quirky live performances come synchronised with foot stomping and props galore.

On the brink of breaking into the mainstream, now’s a great time to see them. Though you’ve probably heard the heavy bass beats of “Oh My Gosh” already, it’s definitely worth a listen. It’s a stomper.
