Kanye West And Jay-Z Reportedly On The Verge Of Kissing And Making Up

Not to mention resolving that pesky £2.5 million dispute

If the past 10 months are anything to go by, when Kanye West and Jay-Z fall out it comes at a cost.

But it looks as though their bitter feud could be coming to an end, as the pair are allegedly going to meet face-to-face and bury the hatchet.

According to TMZ, the meeting is on the cards with a source close to the rappers saying: "The Generals [Kanye and Jay] have to meet face-to-face. When that happens, the resolving the money dispute is a piece of cake."

The money in question is around £2.5 million which Kanye reportedly says he is owed by Jay-Z's steaming platform, Tidal. But that's not where all of this began.

It started in November when Ye called out Jay on-stage during his Saint Pablo tour. The rant came shortly before he was hospitalised and the remaining dates were cancelled.

Although Jay might have forgiven him, the fact that Ye name-checked Jay's wife, Beyonce, and daughter, Blue Ivy, was a step too far the rapper said.

Although rather than saying this directly to Ye, because that's not what rappers do, Jay penned a diss track and premiered it as the opening song of his new album 4:44.

Ye then reportedly left Tidal weeks later saying his solicitor would be in touch over a number of advances and bonuses which totalled around £2.5 million.

Still with us?

Anyway - last month Jay said on the Rap Radar podcast that although Kanye had definitely crossed a line, they had also got past "bigger issues" in the past. So maybe, just maybe, it's not the end to the famous bromance after all.
