Petr Cech is a undoubtedly a Premier League legend. Since his arrival in England at Jose Mourinho's all-conquering Chelsea team in 2004, the goalkeeper has won four league titles, six FA Cups, three league cups, one Europa League and, of course, a Champions League too.

Even a head injury that almost cost him his life didn't stop the Czech from racking up more and more goalkeeping records. He signed for Arsenal in 2015 for £10 million following the emergence of Thibaut Courtois, and many thought the Gunners had wrangled the deal of the century.

But while Cech's performances have been of a high standard, Arsenal have still floundered on the domestic stage. And according to Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, that's partly down to the goalkeeper.

Speaking on Sky Sports in the wake of Arsenal's 3-1 loss to Manchester City, Carragher opined that Cech has lost stature in the game.

"I think he is one of the great goalkeepers in the Premier League, but now he's just a good goalkeeper."

He spoke specifically on an Aguero penalty, saying: "Petr Cech should save that."

Cech has faced 13 penalties for the Gunners, and failed to save a single one.

Can the 35-year-old get back to his best? We'll have to wait and see.
