Ever thought you looked particularly dashing waiting for the bus? So did someone else. They took pictures.
Chances are that, at one time or another, you've taken a bus. Whether it was your trip to school, long way home after a night out or your route into work, the bus stop is a constant in nearly everyone's lives.
Photographer Richard Hooker's series of images, taken between 2001 and 2005, looks at bus stops as a place of transition and social mix.
The results are pictures that perfectly capture moments of incidental beauty (as well as the precise moment people discover they haven't topped up their Oyster card).
