If 2010’s Tron sequel underwhelmed, the choice mode of transportation in "The Grid" didn’t. We’ve got a Light Cycle sitting in fantasy garage, parked between Bullitt’s 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback and a Back to the Future DeLorean (it’s a big garage).

While we can’t help with the latter two, we can point you in the direction of a set of lights that can turn your everyday push bike into something that will stop traffic – which in a roundabout way is the idea.

Revolights is a killer piece of kit that aims to stop you being killed, or at the very least being pranged by a U-turning black cab.

The handiwork of a San Francisco-based start-up, obviously, it’s available to order from the US.

Where they’re at with the Flux Capacitor they promised us is anyone’s guess.
