A new exhibition shows the year's most powerful photojournalism

From the trauma of Gaza to fencing at the 2012 Olympics, The World Press Photo Exhibition displays the most powerful and moving images of the year.

This year's winning photograph comes from Paul Hansen, of the Swedish daily paper Dagens Nyheter. It shows a group of Palestinian men carrying the bodies of two little boys and their father being taken to a mosque for burial, after being killed by an Israeli missile strike. Their mother was put in intensive care.

The full exhibition can be seen at the Southbank Centre from Friday 8th November untill Tuesday 26 November, and is free to view.
