GTA V Confirmed For PC, PS4 And XBox One

The biggest game of last year is set for a next-gen release

The biggest problem with the release of the latest batch of next-generation consoles is always having to start your gaming collection all over again every time you go in for an upgrade.

However, if you were one of the 20 people in the country who didn’t buy GTA V last September, you’re now in luck, as Rockstar North have announced plans to release an upgraded next-gen edition this autumn.

To get you properly excited, Rockstar have also released an all new trailer, featuring hammerhead sharks, polished graphics and streamlined gameplay. In a post on their blog the studio have promised ‘new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover’.

So, even less reason to leave the house.

The best news? All saved games will be carried over to the next-gen edition, meaning all those hours spent cruising around San Andreas haven’t been wasted.

But then, has building a digital crime empire ever been a waste of time?

Grand Theft Auto Five will be released for PC, Xbox One and PS4 this autumn
