Raleigh Ritchie Trades Game Of Thrones For Gritty RnB

With Season Four over, the actor behind Grey Worm reignites his flourishing music career

You know him as Grey Worm, leader the Unsullied and one of Daenerys Targaryen's most trusted soldiers on Game Of Thrones.

But with season four over, actor Raleigh Ritchie has picked up his other pastime: music. Ritchie has already been in Esquire's style section, modelling the latest Spring/Summer style, but he's also released three EPs, including the broody, assertive Black and Blue earlier this year.

His newest track, 'Birthday Girl', is a mellow torch ballad mourning the collapse of a relationship, studded with Ritchie's own subtle charm and world-weariness. It has echoes of Jessie Ware, Sampha, Frank Ocean and The Weeknd; super-charged, emotional, but subtle and coy, too.
