A video has surfaced of a skydiver suffering from a seizure while free falling at 12,000 feet - and his instructor's heroic rescue.
22-year-old Christopher Jones was taking a training program with Western Australian Skydiving Academy when the life-threatening incident occurred.
Fortunately, his accompanying instructor – named by the Academy as Sheldon McFarlane – managed to launch the skydiver's parachute at around 4,000 feet after an initial failed attempt.
At 3,000 feet, Jones regained consciousness and was able to land the parachute safely.
The skydiver went on to describe it as "possibly the scariest moment of my life."
