The Name Gary Is Going Extinct

Messrs Oldman and Lineker could soon be a rare breed

There are many things in the world that are in danger of extinction. Indian Elephants and Bengal Tigers spring to mind. Add the name Gary to that list.

The name's popularity has been plummeting since the early 1950s in which the Gary count was registered at 39,000.

However, according to ourbabynamer.com, 2013 saw a total of just 442 – a drastic decrease of which a mere 28 hailed from the UK.
