The biggest question of this season? Imagine if you'd put a bet on Leicester to win it.
Sam North was due to collect £50,000 if Leicester won the title, having placed a £10 bet on the Foxes last August at staggering 5,000-1 odds.
However, in a nervy catch-22 that made Deal or No Deal look like child's play, the lifelong fan made a deal with the bookies and cashed it in early making £28,907.51 instead.
The reason? The tension was proving too much for his father who told his Sam he wasn't able to enjoy the season any longer and the stress was making him ill.
He told Sky Sports: "I don't want the lads to start thinking I've lost faith by cashing out as I genuinely do still believe they'll win the league."
The garage manager struck the deal with Sky Bet and shared on his Facebook: "I took the money and I'm gonna [sic] enjoy watching us win the league."
Proving his fan credentials even further, North, 26, told Sky he is hoping to use his payout to fund attending European football fixtures now that Leicester's Champions League qualification looks secure.
Leicester are 5 points clear with just 7 games to go. In a related note, Gary Lineker has reiterated that he will present Match of The Day in his underwear if they do take the title, causing even further distress throughout North London.
