The First Male Contraception Injection Is Here

And it's music to women's ears

The male contraceptive you don't have to carry in your wallet and fumble with awkwardly in the dark has finally arrived.

The contraceptive injection, which effectively blocks sperm, is non-hormonal and fully reversible and has been shown to work for up to 12 months and goes by the delightful name 'Vasalgel'.

The shot is the first of it's kind and could revolutionise the politics of birth control. According to research, the majority of men would be willing to use new contraceptives.

The non-profit Parsemus Foundation in California say clinical testing of the shot will begin this year, with the ultimate aim of rolling it out worldwide at an affordable cost.
