Jennifer Lawrence Favourite To Play 'Blonde Bond'

The Hunger Games was just warm up

After the April Fool's hoax that Olivia Colman was being lined up to play Bond you might treat news that J-Law was in contention with a raised eyebrow.

In fact the Oscar-winning actress has her very own espionage story in the works, playing WWI spy Betty Pack.

'The Blonde Bond', as she was termed in her obituary by Time magazine, was a daring femme fatale figure who 'changed the entire course of the war.'

The film is an adaption of Howard Blum's book, The Last Goodnight which is Pack's own story of 'espionage, adventure and betrayal.'

The Sony film will be produced by Mark Gordon who worked on Steve Jobs and Saving Private Ryan, and is due to be released in 2017.

We wonder whether Bradley Cooper is being approached for a 'Miss Moneypenny' type character.
