We humans may think ourselves masters over nature, but sometimes nature comes along to put us in our place. This is especially true for drones, who often fly where they should fear to tread and learn a harsh lesson.

(In all seriousness, please keep drones away from animals. You damage your drone and you can also cause significant harm to the animals. If you're a drone owner, these videos offer a good illustration of what not to do.)

1

Drone vs. Dog

youtubeView full post on Youtube

Dogs have been bred and trained for millennia to guard and protect humans. If there's something moving in the grass over there, this dog will do its job and check it out. Good dog.

Winner: Dog

2

Drone vs. Hawk

Drones have merely adopted the sky. Birds were born in it, molded by it. This hawk circles around and sneaks up behind this drone, taking it out almost before the pilot knew it was there.

Winner: Hawk

3

Drone vs. Kangaroo

Kangaroos have a reputation for a reason. If you get too close, they will mess you up. This drone operator found that out the hard way.

Drone vs. Dog, Round 2

To this dog, a small drone must look exactly like a tiny flying treat. She wasted no time getting that delicious drone treat into her mouth. 12/10. Would feed more drones.

Winner: Dog. Also, spectators.

5

Drone vs. Kitten

This may be the most adorable entry on the list. A tiny kitten smacks down an even tinier drone. They have to get an early start on learning to hunt, after all.

Winner: Little tiny baby kitten

6

Drone vs. Cat

Cats will attack pretty much anything that moves. Flying a drone right up in a cat's face like this is pretty much asking to be swatted down. This cat happily obliges.

Winner: Full-grown feline.

Drone vs. Goose

Geese may look cute from a distance, but never get too close to one. They will fight you for no reason. This goose takes down a drone just for looking at it wrong.

Winner: Goose

8

Drone vs. Dog, Round 3

If it's on the table, it must be food, right? This dog wastes no time getting his teeth on that drone. Sorry pup, it's not edible.

Winner: Dog

9

Drone vs. Ram

They're called "rams." If you fly a drone right in front of one, there's pretty much only one thing you can expect to happen.

Winner: Ram

Drone vs. Leopard

A leopard is nothing more than a big cat, and yet this leopards run-in with a drone is not quite as successful as those of its smaller cousins. Sorry Mother Nature, you can't win 'em all.

Winner: Draw
