Last week, we were happy to bring you an exclusive first look at the teaser. Now, it's time for the main event. To promote the fall '15 Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham collection, H&M shot a seven-minute-long video starring the British footballer and comedian Kevin Hart, who was a guest on Trevor Noah's Daily Show last night.
The conceit is simple and ridiculous, which is why it works so well. Hart is prepping to play the role of Beckham in the biopic I, Beckham, and he's going full-method to get ready. Hart shadows Beckham on set, stays in his apartment, and even tries to sneak into bed with him at one point, all in the name of "research."
The two stars are mismatched in every way – well, nearly. They both spend the entire clip dressed in matching outfits. And, well, they both look great. Which is the genius of the whole campaign. You're laughing, but you're also thinking about whether you should get that bomber jacket for fall. Maybe the blue suit? Maybe both.
