Saturday Night Live had a plethora of material to work from after last week's presidential debate. The town hall format meant that Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon could use slapstick to portray some of the funnest moments, making it their best election sketch yet. Plus, of course: Ken Bone made an appearance.

Donald Trump (shockingly!) hated the skit. He tweeted Sunday morning that Alec Baldwin's portrayal of him is part of the vast media conspiracy that is colluding to ensure he is not elected and should. Okay, Donald. Sure. Did you forget you hosted SNL earlier this year?

The debate began with moderators Anderson Cooper and Martha Raddatz taking a shot, which is surely how the rest of America steeled itself for this debate.

Then the candidates entered.

Early in the debate, Trump announced his curve ball: the women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault were in the audience. "Hold on to your nips and your nuts because four of those women are here tonight. Four of them."

Hillary, of course, was unfazed. "Get real. I'm made of steel. This is nothing. Hi, girls!"

As Clinton answered one voter's question while standing on Trump's side of the debate stage, Trump lurked behind her as the Jaws theme music played.

Next, the debate moderators announced that we were entering the Bone Zone. It was time for the now-infamous Ken Bone to interrupt the night's proceedings to give America a break from all of the election chaos.

"Y'all ready for this?"
