When Will Byers returned from the Upside Down, one thing was for certain: the kid was going to need therapy.

The Peanuts version of Stranger Things opens with Will Byers, filled with crippling anxiety, talking to his pal Dustin about feeling not quite right ever since he returned from the Upside Down.

"Maybe what you need is some good psychiatric help," Dustin suggests.

Cut to a scene with Eleven sitting under a sign that reads, "Psychiatric Help, 5 cents."

Created by YouTubers Leigh Lahav and Oren Mendez, Merry Christmas Will Byers is the perfect mash-up for fans of the Netflix series and cartoon as Will Byers takes Charlie Brown's place and searches for answers to cure his anxiety, only to learn that he has had the answer all along:

"I see it now. I guess I should feel happy the whole town came together to save me. And that's what happiness is all about in the end—the people who truly care about you, the folks who would do anything to get you out of a creepy, parallel swamp universe."

Isn't that right, Barb?
