There is an Italian television show called the Guinness World Records Italian Show where contestants try to break world records of literally no consequence. One such record was "farthest washing machine throw (individual)." Thor Björnsson—"The Mountain" from Game of Thrones—competed against another strongman, Zydrunas Savickas, to break it. The intensity is almost too much. Almost.
Unfortunately, The Mountain was unsuccessful. The other guy was way better at throwing washing machines, beating the previous world record by .12 meters, though it looks like he tore a muscle doing it. This definitely seems like a sport worth getting injured for.
