If there is one silver lining to Donald Trump being president, it is the pure comedy gold Saturday Night Live is spinning out of the insanity of his administration. See Exhibit A: Melissa McCarthy's portrayal of White House press secretary Sean Spicer as an angry baby in a suit.

The sketch begins with McCarthy's Spicer warning the press that he's not here to be their friend, he's here to swallow gum and take names—a reference to Spicer's peculiar habit of chewing gum and swallowing it whole.

After booing the New York Times, Spicer brought out some props to help the press understand that, "Our president will not be deterred in his fight against radical moose-lambs."

Then, things took a violent turn.

Next, Trump's nominee for Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos, took the podium, played perfectly by Kate McKinnon. "I don't know anything about school, but I do think there should be a school. Probably Jesus school. I do think it should have walls, and roof, and gun for potential grizzly."

But things truly got ugly when a member of the press asked about Trump's statement on Holocaust Remembrance Day, when Spicer pulled out a Super Soaker filled with soapy water "to wash that filthy, lying mouth" of the reporter who asked the question.

"How can it be anti-Semitic?" Spicer asked, "The guy who wrote it was super Jewy."

All in all, I'd say it was a pretty accurate portrayal of what White House press briefings look like these days!
