Netflix is good, isn't it? Distracts you from stuff. Goes down well with Doritos and reckless procrastination.

But there's one big problem – if you've ever used Netflix you'll know it's search functionality can be quite tricky.

If there are thousands of films on Netflix, why do we feel like we're always seeing the same ones popping up on the homepage?

It's all down to an algorithm which suggests films based on users habits. But if you want to branch out of the 'suggested for you' movies, it can be tricky to search their full library.

Enter life-changing Netflix hack.

All you have to do to unlock all of Netflix's films is type this link into your toolbar: www.netflix.com/browse/genre/XXXX

To bring up different sub-categories, you simply replace the 'XXXX' with a number. A spreadsheet of these codes has been released and you can see all of the numbers right here.

Happy viewing.
